Lime
Lime
In Europe one finds the summer and winter lime tree. They are often found as ornamental trees on country roads and in villages. The flowers are easily recognized by the long forked stamens.
The lime tree spreads comparatively little pollen. Pollination is mainly by insects, which makes it an important source of honey, especially for bees. For allergy sufferers the lime tree has a comparatively low importance.
Pollen season
The flowering period is from May to July.
Possible cross reactions
Currently, no cross-reactions are known.
