Inhalation allergens

Aeroallergens or inhalation allergens are naturally occurring substances that are spread through the air. Depending on which allergen one is allergic to, it can lead to pathogenic defense reactions that the immune system develops against the usually harmless substances. Significant allergen carriers are, for example, pollen, house dust mites and mold spores.
